Chambers: Essex Chambers of Commerce
Application: The official online Best of Business application form
Awards: Essex Has Talent – Best in Business Award being held at the Essex Chambers of Commerce flagship event, Festival of Business.
Event: The Festival of Business 2024
Entrant: Business, Organisation or individual entering the Best of Business Awards
The Award is free to enter but to be eligible, businesses must be registered to exhibit at the Event.
Entries must be from businesses and individuals with premises located in Essex for the duration of the Awards.
All entries must be submitted using the official online Application form and must be received by midnight 11th October 2024.
Amendments cannot be made to an Application once submitted. If an Entrant has any concerns about information included in an Application after it has been submitted, they should contact the Chambers directly.
By entering the Awards, the Entrant hereby warrants that all information submitted is true, accurate and complete. The Chambers reserves the right to verify any information contained in the Application and the Entrants eligibility to enter the Awards.
Upon being shortlisted as a finalist, Entrants agree that at least one representative will be present at the Awards to deliver a 10 minute presentation to the judges, on stage at the Event.
Finalists will be notified 4 weeks before the Event.
All entries are treated with the upmost confidentiality. Entries submitted to the Chambers will be passed onto our relevant Judges for the Awards process. All judges will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Judges will declare any perceived conflict of interest to the Chambers ahead of reading any entries.
The decision of the judges is final in terms of any Award made. The Chambers will not be obliged to justify their decision or enter into any correspondence.
In the event the Chambers have reasonable grounds to believe an Entrant has attempted to influence the decision of the judges further, by any means outside or in addition to the official Application or presentation, the Entrant will be disqualified.
In the event a Winner is disqualified from the Awards, the Chambers will select an alternative Winner in the same manner as the original Winner.
Any entrants for the Awards must be prepared to receive media coverage and this should be accepted as a condition of entry.
By entering the Awards you permit Chambers the irrevocable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, edit, publish, create derivative works from your Application, to distribute to their media channels
Should for any reason the event be postponed, your Application will still be valid and will be carried through to the appropriate date.
By submitting an application to the Awards the Entrant agrees to comply with the rules. The person completing the Application form warrants that they are authorised to do so and agree to be bound by, and comply with, these Terms and Conditions.
